The following images were taken in Korea from 1951 – 1952. Story Sloane Jr. was stationed with the 111^th, a part of the 136^th fighter bomber wing at K-2 outside of Taegu, Korea. His photographic work appeared in Stars & Stripes and numerous press releases while serving in Korea. Story captured on film the local citizens and environment with acute sensitivity and remarkable composition.
